What can you do with a certificate of completion in Caregiving?
Students who have a certificate of completion have been fully trained on how to be Caregivers. They can choose to go and work internationally in UK, US, Canada, Australia, etc. as long as they meet the work requirements of their employers and the countries, depending on available opportunities. Students can also choose to work locally in hospices, home care agencies, medical centers, clinics, hospitals, or be self employed as personal care or home care aides. Dignified care Kenya also endeavors to keep all students especially those who excel on all upcoming opportunities both international and local. Alternatively, students can also choose to further their education by taking additional training or classes in the vast field of healthcare.

WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THE CAREGIVER CERTIFICATES IN HEALTHCARE
Students, who receive the Caregiver Certificate in any of our basic healthcare courses, can work in hospices, home care agencies, hospitals, clinics, medical centres, in self employment, etc. both locally and internationally. Upon completion all students receive a recommendation letter and a certificate from Dignified Care Kenya. Students are also informed of any available job opportunities for application locally and internationally.

Requirements that you need to become a care assistant in the UK
- Gather Documents
This includes:
(i). Passport π
(ii). Birth certificate
(iii). A valid Driving license ( smart DL & International driving license)
(iv). School Certificate eg Diploma/degree
- Write βοΈβοΈβοΈ
(i). IELTS UKVI GENERAL TEST and get a band 6.0 to be on a safer side. Though with Gov.uk requires band 4.0.
(ii). Care Certificates
(15 CPD approved certificates) eg. JP-UK, Reed care, caredemy Certificates etc and MUST Include this care Certificates on the CV
(iii). Volunteer in a hospital setting ( Clinic, dispensary, health center) to gain experience taking care of patients.
( Especially Non- medics to get an exposure) and MUST include this in your CV and Cover letter

- Job Interview Stage
Recruiter will organize an interview through Zoom, Teams account or whatever means.
- On successful interview π€ ππ you will be granted an offer letter that you need to sign and send back. Critically read through the letter βοΈβοΈ and understand the terms



- COS (CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP)
Once the employer is satisfied with your checks they will give you a certificate of sponsorship. This is the document π that you go to apply for your visa with. Once you have it consider yourself half way to the UK tip your dependants will need it to apply for their visas to.
NB: You can resign your job at this stage.

Your employer will do some checks at this stage to verify your authenticity, they might request for;
(i). References
(ii). Up-to-date Police clearance certificate
(iii). DBS check
(iv). Original scanned copies of your school leaving certificates etc
(v). Proof of address
